From the Cajun country of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Stuart Downs relocated to the Conyers area in 1997. Stuart obtained his BSN from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1993 and a MSA in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University in 2005. He began his tenure at RMC in November 1998 as a staff nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, and has held other positions on his journey to the executive level. Stuart is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, ANA, GONL, ACHE, AONE, GAHE, and AACN. He and his wife LaTanya are the Directors of Music at The Potter’s House Church in Covington.
