Surgical Services
Our state-of-the-art Surgical Services Department is designed to handle both
minor and major procedures. Our facility includes seven inpatient suites and one
cystoscopy room. We also offer lithotripsy.
Outpatient Services include ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, plastic,
orthopedics and general surgery. We are currently performing several advanced
laparoscopic procedures in the operating room to include laparoscopic colectomies
and laparoscopic cholecystectomies, nissen fundo-plication, nephrectomies and
hysterectomies.
Day Surgery
Rockdale Medical Center’s Day Surgery provides patients with a more
comprehensive and streamlined patient-friendly experience. Thanks to advancements
in medicine and surgical techniques, RMC has made it possible for patients to have a
surgical procedures and return to their home on the same day. Our physicians
have developed expertise in minimally invasive surgeries.

For children, surgery can be a very scary experience. We offer special pre-operative
and post-operative rooms specifically geared to children, which include fun murals,
books and videos.
