Breast Health – Mammography

Although they are vital in the early detection of breast cancer, many women don’t get regular mammograms because of discomfort, lack of privacy, inconvenience or fear. The Women’s Diagnostic Center, located in the East Tower of Rockdale Medical Center, was designed to do away with these worries.

The Women’s Diagnostic Center features a comfortable, private waiting area, three Mammography rooms, Bone Density, and dedicated Ultrasound equipment. There is a Physician on-site for consults. If you need additional testing, it may be completed within the same visit. During your appointment, you can expect privacy, excellent medical care and the confidence that you’ve come to the right place.

The Women’s Diagnostic Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is approved by the FDA. To ensure that you receive the highest quality exam, the Technologists performing your procedure are certified in the field of Radiology with a special certification in Mammography. The Physician’s are board certified and utilize a CAD (Computer Aided Detection) system to assist in making the appropriate diagnosis.
