Rockdale Medical Center’s Comprehensive Hyperbaric & Wound Healing Center specializes in the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds. This growing problem is spurred by the aging of America and the increase in diabetes. Approximately 18.5 million Americans have diabetes and of that population, about 1.8 million will suffer from a problem wound.

The Hyperbaric & Wound Healing Center is an out-patient, hospital-based program. Each patient receives a customized comprehensive care plan developed in conjunction with our physicians and your primary care physician or specialist.

Not just for wound healing anymore


Many take it for granted, but Doug Norton just wanted to hear his wife's voice again. Without explanation, he'd lost his hearing, first in his left ear, then his right. All of a sudden, he and his wife were communicating using a dry erase board.

The Norton's decided to go to the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at Rockdale Medical Center to see hyperbaric medicine specialist, Dr. Brian Allen. What followed was nothing short of incredible.
